Your academic advising team works together to keep you informed, on track for graduation, and supported throughout your program. Here is some information about the roles within the team.

As the core members of your advising team, we will interact with you most frequently. We are experts on your program requirements and are available to assist with program-related questions. We are also familiar with ASU and MLFTC resources and will refer you, as appropriate, to ensure you are fully supported.

Cadie coordinates advising-related functions, working mainly behind the scenes, though you will likely hear from her at some point during your program.
Brian Robinson - Academic Success Coordinator, International Partners
Brian supports students in various countries throughout Africa pursuing graduate certificates, as well as students in China pursuing programs taught exclusively in the Mandarin language.

Required Courses
Upon admission to the program, each M.Ed. Learning Design and Technologies student is assigned a sequence of courses. It is important to follow the assigned course sequence and discuss any variation from the sequence with an academic advisor. The complete list of required coursework for the program can be found on the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College website.
To determine the sequence in which you should take the courses in the program, click the dropdown that corresponds to the year when you started the program. The specific course sequence will also include the term (fall, spring or summer) and the session (A or B).
Culminating Experience
This course is the culminating experience of your Learning Design and Technologies M.Ed., and during the course, you’ll apply what you’ve learned across the program. You’ll begin your transition from student to practitioner by assuming the role of a Learning Design and Technology Consultant and work with an external stakeholder to create an instructional program. You’ll form a partnership with an organization willing to work with you, identify someone within that organization to act as your project sponsor and identify an instructional need, training problem or performance gap within that organization. You’ll respond to the problem by conceiving of, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating an instructional program in an online or blended format to mitigate the problem.
Students must earn a grade of B of higher in the culminating experience course to graduate from the program.
