Career/Technical Fields

High schools in our state are expected to increasingly engage students to connect high school learning to applications in their intended future career and require that each student has a plan for after graduation. These plans include many options:

• Technical College
• Specialty Schools Apprenticeships
• Community College
• 4-year college
• On-the-Job Training
• Military

To assist students to be engaged in their educational planning the following have been implemented as part of the high school graduation requirements.

• Personalized Pathway

Parental support is important. Students who have parents/guardians who are actively involved in their academic careers and planning for the future have a better chance for success during high school and with their post-high school plans.
