CHOCOLATE BAR PRESENTATION
Pupils were working individually on creating a designing a new chocolate bar for selling only in Alton Towers. They had to design the actual chocolate bar, packaging, adverts and look into the nutritional information for chocolate. All of this information was recorded and presented in a PowerPoint presentation. Pupils then had the opportunity to present their idea with their PowerPoint to a judge who had criteria to mark the pupils on, prizes were then awarded to the top 3 pupils.
BUDGETS
Pupils were introduced to budgeting skills using basic personal finance information, where our money comes from and what we spend our money on before transferring this knowledge to what businesses do with money. This topic was explored before skills were applied to the pupil’s enterprise event.
