STUDENT COURSE EVALUATIONS
Students will receive a link to their evaluation at the start of their last class. This is mandatory.
Please allocate a 15-minute period for students to complete the evaluation following the instructions based on your instructional mode and program below. For anonymity, step out of the classroom or Zoom room while they fill it out, but ensure they access the link first. TAs may remain to assist.
GRADE SUBMISSION
Enter pass/fail grades for each student on the current Grade Roster. Use “CR” for passing students and “NCR” for those who didn’t meet course requirements. We need these grades to track student progress toward certificate program completion.
STUDENT WORK SAMPLES
Email at least five samples of student work to saic-ace@saic.edu. Label each file with the student’s full name (e.g., Student_First_Name,Student_Last_Name.jpg). We rely on this material for program evaluation and recruitment efforts.
CONCUR REIMBURSEMENT
If you need reimbursement for demo or instructional supplies, follow the instructions on the CS Faculty Website.
SUPPLIES
You may keep any supplies purchased from Amazon or Material Source for future classes. Please return any unwanted materials to CS supply closets (280-118, Sharp 408, or Sullivan 716).
CLASSROOM RESET

FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FACULTY END-TERM SURVEY
Additionally, please fill out the Faculty Announcements form if you have any news you want shared with the CS community, and importantly, the Faculty End-Term survey if you have any feedback about your experience working with CS staff and your TA this term. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Note: All end-of-term deliverables are due one week after class ends.

Please allocate 15 minutes for students to complete the evaluation following the instructions based on your instructional mode and program below.
FOR IN-PERSON COURSE EVALUATIONS
(for ECP Commuter, ECPSI, MAC, and MSP courses)
Pick up your course evaluation packet from the designated location (see below). Instructors should step out of the room while students complete the evaluation. Continuing Studies Student Work Samples by Term
Work samples are shared to celebrate student and faculty achievements, showcase classroom activities, and inspire project design.
They may not be downloaded, shared, or used without permission, as not all students have consented to have their work publicly shared.
Find work samples from Summer 2024 here.
Adobe Creative Cloud
We only offer students personal Adobe Creative Cloud access if they take specific ONLINE courses.
Students taking on-campus courses DO NOT GET Adobe Creative Cloud access besides what is already available to students on school computers and laptops.
Note: If you teach an in-person class that uses Adobe Creative Cloud
Students might not have access to Adobe Creative Cloud at home. Our students do have access to General Access Labs outside of class time. You can find their locations here (scroll down).
For assistance with troubleshooting, visit our Adobe Creative Cloud + Laptop Carts Guide.
Classroom TA Support
Some ACE courses that require additional technical or facility support and meet a minimum course enrollment of 10 will be provided with a teaching assistant (TA).
TA placement decisions are based on TA applicant skill sets, experience with the curriculum, and work samples.
If you have a current SAIC student in mind that you would like to be considered for your course, please fill out this Faculty TA request form as soon as possible. Please note we have many student positions to fill this fall! We will do our best to honor your request, but we have already started the lengthy hiring process.
The sooner you make your request, the more likely it will be for our team to try to match you with your requested TA.
If you are unsure if your course will have a TA, please email saic-ace@saic.edu.
If your course usually has a TA assigned to it and you would like to forgo the classroom support, please indicate so in the Faculty TA request form.
Submit a Question
If you have a question, please email saic-ace@saic.edu or saic-youth@saic.edu.
