Certificate students are indicated on the ACE grade roster in column I as “CSCRT”
Certificate students must complete and pass 6 courses to receive their certificate. Thus, the tracking of a student's completion and grades is especially important for those enrolled in the certificate program.

Flaxman Library is open to SAIC students, faculty, staff, and alumni without an appointment.
The Gene Siskel Film Center is Chicago’s premier art house cinema in the heart of the theater district, bringing film lovers together for an unparalleled movie-going experience. It is a public program of SAIC, students, staff and faculty receive discounted rates with ID.
If reserving a classroom set of equipment, faculty should check out the equipment or make reservations rather than the TA.
Students can make their own individual reservations with the Media Center as well.
The Service Bureau is a professional digital-output lab that serves the SAIC community. We offer Wide Format printing, Latex printing, Laser printing with several binding options, Risograph printing, Kiss Cut Stickers, and Vinyl Cutting.
Students, staff, and faculty can use this resource.
Video Data Bank (VDB) is a leading resource in the United States for video by and about contemporary artists. The VDB’s collection has grown to include the work of more than 600 artists and 6,000 video art titles.
ACE courses that require additional technical or facility support and meet a minimum course enrollment of 10 will be provided with a Teaching Assistant (TA). TA placement decisions are based on TA applicant skill sets, experience with the curriculum, and work samples.
E-introductions between TAs and Faculty will be sent out in the weeks leading up to courses.
