Mandated Reporter training is required to teach students under the age of 18. Materials must be completed and resubmitted once every three calendar years that you are teaching.

Two documents should be submitted to CS after the completion of Mandated Reporter training:

• • Certificate of Course Completion (generated at the end of the online training)

  • CANTS Acknowledgment Form

Completing Mandated Reporter:

Start here (this training should take you no longer than 60 minutes to complete)

1. Register for an account with your SAIC email address

2. Your SAIC ID number should be used as your employee ID

3. The course can be completed in 60 minutes

4. At the end of the training, download and save the certificate of completion as a pdf 

5. Download and sign this CANTS acknowledgment form attached to this email

6. Send your certificate of completion and the signed CANTS acknowledgment form to saic-youth@saic.edu.

Additionally, faculty should have an email in their inbox from ARTICTraining asking them to complete the Sexual Abuse and Neglect of Minors training. This is required to be completed before teaching students under the age of 18 as well. The training takes 2-5 minutes to complete.
