CS faculty, along with any assigned teaching assistants, are responsible for resetting classroom furniture:
For courses that meet weekly: Reset furniture at the end of each class meeting time.
For summer or intensive courses that meet daily: Reset furniture at the end of each session (if the room is not shared).
Additionally, please ensure workspaces are tidy and the classroom is reset for the next instructor. For classrooms in 280, refer to the furniture reset diagrams provided below. Ensure the room has the correct number of furniture pieces, and if anything is missing, submit a 360 request.
If your class is responsible for any painting or drawing media on the walls, please put in a 360 request for painting.
As IRFM cannot reset every room after each class, you are expected to clean your room and prepare it for the next class that will use it. Please leave your classroom spotless, with all trash and scraps in the bins and all artwork put away.
Paintings may be stored in the racks on the 3rd floor of 280. Any paintings left after the last class meeting time will be thrown away.
280 Classroom floor plans can be found here, as well as below.
