Lithuania Semester
Study Abroad Lithuania
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
APU partners with Study Abroad Lithuania (LCC International University or "LCC") to provide an adventure packed with international experience, European culture, and new friendships in the Lithuania Semester Program. LCC International University is a multicultural, intentional, relational community with students and faculty from over 60 countries. It is a North American style liberal arts university with a Christian worldview, located in Klaipėda, Lithuania, a country bursting with aplomb, independence, and possibility. Campus is only 15 minutes away from the beach, forest, and historic downtown!
LCC operates in English, so whether you take courses in your major, general studies or electives, you will earn credits in an interactive and global learning environment. Join LCC’s vibrant student life by living on campus, volunteering, and participating in a diverse and welcoming community. Discover the other Baltic countries through program excursions to Latvia and Estonia, and travel to the country of Georgia during the semester break with your study abroad cohort. Available for a semester or summer, this study abroad program is perfect for students who hope to make lasting connections, be known, and create a second home in northern Europe.

APU REQUIREMENTS
APU prerequisites are mandatory.
Students are not allowed to take APU online courses unless designated in program elective offerings.
Students must maintain full-time enrollment status (minimum 12 credits).
Select only courses that are connected to your APU degree in order to maintain all financial aid.
Students are automatically enrolled in APU's GLBL 425 course the semester AFTER the program.
Registration is all through your APU Account. Upon acceptance, students will be granted access to register for study away sections of the courses.
TRANSFER CREDIT & COURSE SUBSTITUTION
Students will need to complete a Transfer Credit & Course Substitution (TCCS) Form to transfer course credit to APU credits.
A TCCS Form will be required for courses not already approved by APU. Submitted forms go through all academic required departments and results (approvals or denials) are emailed back to students. Results from the TCCS process must be obtained prior to departure so you only take courses that count towards your degree. Keep the results so you have proof of how your program courses will count once you complete them.

Federal Aid: Yes, automatically applied like regular semester.
State Aid: Yes, automatically applied like regular semester.
APU Institutional Aid: No, APU institutional aid is manually removed for your Lithuania semester and then automatically reinstated for following semester(s). APU Institutional Aid includes aid such as President's/Dean's/Provost's/Director's/Founder's/M.E.L. scholarships, Fac/Staff Award, Honors/APU Grants, etc. Since students are going to a non-APU program, APU Institutional Aid cannot be used. In recognition of the financial challenges this creates, APU has agreed to charge students the lower program tuition cost instead of APU tuition. We recognize this does not cover all differences, but it is meant to assist with the cost.
