Complete the CCEL/Study Away Incident Report Form immediately following the incident.
If you are traveling independently, contact APU Campus Safety 24/7 at +1 (626) 815-3898. The officer on duty will locate a CCEL/Study Away staff member to assist.
If at any time during your Study Away program you suffer an illness/injury, are made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or become the victim of a crime, you are encouraged to fill out the CCEL/Study Away Incident Report immediately.
It is the policy of Azusa Pacific University to ensure that the victim(s) and witnesses to crime are aware of their right to report criminal acts to the police or campus safety and to report University policy violations to the appropriate office (e.g. student conduct violations to student life or campus safety, etc.). However, if a reporting person requests anonymity, this request must be honored to the extent permitted by law. Accordingly, no information should be included on this form that would personally identify the victim without his/her consent.
