Examine:
Weight Room (put weights/dumbbells/bands/clips etc. in the appropriate spot )
Functional Training Rooms ( make sure the lights are on and the spaces are tidied up for training )
Basketball Gym ( see if there may be basketballs that may have not been checked back in )
Roam and tidy things up around the facility if able
Make sure signage is in view for the participants
Greet the person you are working with or replacing for the shift and ask if there is anything that you should know about
If working with someone else, come up with a plan on how to rotate throughout the facility so that one person isn't doing the same job the entire shift (switch roles every 30 minutes between Front Desk and Rover)
If at the front desk, greet or give a warm farewell to facility participants that are entering and exiting the facility
Make sure their swipe or scan shows up in Fusion so that you are able to notice if the individual is permitted to use the facility
Know where to locate waivers/ scan QR code for guest passes
Monitor Equipment Check-Out/In
If roaming and coming in within five feet of an individual, interact with them
Educate about policies in our Fitness Areas
Check equipment by testing, learning, and practicing when able
Tidy up equipment and place weights, if able, back in the correct place
Be sure to clock out and enjoy the remainder of your day
Fusion:
Check Fusion to see if all equipment has been checked in (retrieve from areas and check back in if needed) and exit Fusion
Shut down computer
Equipment:
Ensure that the main fitness area is neat and in order
Check to see if the weights are with like-sized plates
Dumbbells should be placed in ascending order
Inspect:
Front desk area for any trash or debris
Weight room area for any items that may have been left by the participants
Make sure the functional training room's equipment is in order
Turn Off:
All music ( located at the front desk )
