Communication is one of the most important aspects of our job!
It is important that you feel as though you have the ability to communicate with participants, other undergrad staff, leaders, pro-staff, and yourself to ensure that you feel prepared to put your best foot forward while working here at UREC.
The development of your communication skills will happen on the job, and you'll feel more confident with your skills the more in-person experiences you have.
This page of the website is to help you understand the impact different skills of communication will have on your ability to positively affect the member experience and HOW TO perform certain tasks of the job that involve the use of communication.
Again, most of this training and development of your skills will happen via on-the-job experiences, but we want to give you the tools to feel comfortable enough to use communication equipment and understand the connection between communication and the job.
