NE Metro 916 Career & Tech Classes
Northeast Metro 916 Career & Tech offers 20 programs that give high school students the competitive advantage of professional skills, industry certifications, and college credit (in many programs) that give students a head start toward postsecondary success while earning high school elective credit.
Students enrolled in 916 Career & Tech courses come from 13 school districts north and east of the Minneapolis/St Paul area and the coursework is a part of a student's normal school day. Students attend for 105 minutes and spend the remainder of their day at their home high school taking their required core classes.
Transportation is provided, as courses are held on the East Campus of Century College.

TRANSITION CAREER ACADEMY (TCA)
This program provides students with disabilities with the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills in trade and industry (fall), business and marketing (winter), and health and human services (spring). Completing the TCA program can lead to immediate high-demand employment, living-wage careers, and further skill and knowledge programming such as the 916 Career & Tech rigor 2 or 3 programs or additional postsecondary education.
