All faculty and staff are encouraged to keep the communication lines open. Please address any concerns with the teacher first in an effort to quickly and effectively solve any potential problems.
Parents needing to contact any faculty or staff member should send a note or email with their specific request (phone call, e-mail, conference, etc.). Include in your note a suggestion of convenient times for you. This will assist the teacher in establishing a mutually convenient time for both of you.
Please remember that teachers cannot make phone calls nor answer their phone until after school is dismissed for the day. Please leave a message on their voice mail or send an email directly to the teacher and he/she will respond to your request as soon as possible.
During the first quarter each parent will be asked to schedule an appointment to discuss his/her child’s progress in an individual conference with the teacher. We believe that the educational success of your child is a joint venture between school and home, and we want to keep communication lines open.
Parent conferences may be initiated by the parent, teacher, or administrator and held at mutually agreeable times.
Comunicación entre la Familia y la Escuela
Se anima a todos los miembros del personal docente y administrativo a mantener abiertas las líneas de comunicación. Por favor, dirija cualquier inquietud primero al maestro de su hijo con el objetivo de resolver rápida y eficazmente cualquier posible problema.
Los padres que necesiten comunicarse con algún miembro del personal docente o administrativo deben enviar una nota o correo electrónico con su solicitud específica (llamada telefónica, correo electrónico, conferencia, etc.). Incluya en su mensaje algunas sugerencias de horarios que sean convenientes para usted. Esto ayudará al maestro a establecer un horario que funcione para ambas partes.
Recuerde que los maestros no pueden realizar llamadas telefónicas ni contestar su teléfono durante el día escolar hasta después de la salida de los estudiantes. Por favor, deje un mensaje en su buzón de voz o envíe un correo electrónico directamente al maestro, y él/ella responderá a su solicitud lo antes posible.
Durante el primer trimestre, se les solicitará a los padres programar una cita para hablar sobre el progreso de su hijo en una conferencia individual con el maestro. Creemos que el éxito educativo de su hijo es un esfuerzo conjunto entre la escuela y el hogar, y queremos mantener abiertas las líneas de comunicación.
Las conferencias entre padres y maestros pueden ser solicitadas por el padre, el maestro o un administrador, y se llevarán a cabo en horarios acordados mutuamente.
