Soirees 2025

Weeks 7-9 of Term 3

Soirées are an opportunity for our talented students to perform individually in a friendly environment. Students performing pieces with accompaniment will be provided with a professional accompanist with the cost covered by the Band & Strings Program.

Please speak to your tutor about a suitable piece and get practising!
Pieces should be no longer than 2 minutes in length.

Preparation: Fill in either the Band form or Strings form to let us know what you'll be playing.

Where: Annandale North Public School Hall

Band Night 2 Soiree Thursday 11 September

String Night 1 Soiree Monday 15 September

String Night 2 Soiree Thursday 18th September

On the night...

Wear comfortable clothing, smart enough to perform in!
Please arrive at the school hall 5 minutes before the start time
Bring your sheet music and instrument and set yourself up quickly when you arrive
Line up on the side where chairs are set up — your conductor will have the running order
Just like a regular concert, please listen quietly when others are performing and please stay until the end — it's a great encouragement for everyone
Parents and family are encouraged to come to watch and support their young musicians in the concerts. If you can help set up chairs for the audience as you arrive, while students get out their music and instruments that would be great!
