Design Rationale: Our pollinator garden has 9 different species of plants all varying in height and color, all of which support pollinators. We specifically put our tallest plants near the tree in our clients yard due to the amount of shade they need and because of a special request. We put our shorter plants around the perimeter of the garden due to the need of sunlight exposure they require and so they won’t be a hindrance to people walking on the sidewalk. We mostly are wanting to attract butterfly, so we put some butterfly milkweed in the design. We have purple, orange, green, blue-green, white, and yellow plants. The height ranges from 6 inch outside to 4ft inside by the tree.
