Design Rationale:

Our goal for this design is to utilize native plants to attract pollinators (including but not limited to: monarch and night-feeding butterflies; night-feeding moths; fruitworm and other beetles; various flies; and carpenter, honey, mason, and bumble bees) and sustain a healthy ecosystem for pollinators in our community. The grasses placed throughout provide protection from wind as well as aesthetic appeal. We used a variety of bloom periods to attract pollinators year round and to have some vibrance in the garden from April to October.
