We are doing this project, because we hope to install a pollinator garden into the home of an active community member. We hope to do a well rounded, engaged, and complete job. Native Plants and Native Pollinators have coevolved. The loss of one seriously affects the other. We are dedicated to help preserve the life of some native pollinators by planting native plants.

Our group has personally chosen eight native plants that we believe, would prove to be beneficial for our client and for the native pollinators. We need to use native plants because they attract more native pollinators and are more beneficial to the local environment. We need to keep them together. They depend on each other to survive. If we install the native plants into our client’s garden, then native pollinators will appear around the plants. Our group needs to make sure they have a source to pollinate, otherwise their species might die off.

This is our garden design. Our clients changed the area in which we were planting, so this map is not as accurate. All the plants are in the same position

We would put the photos of the garden that we took in February, but our clients changed the planting site last minute.

We did not take a before planting photo, because it was not a part of the instruction back when we planted.

These are the photos from after we planted last week.
