Who Are We?

The mission of the school system is to enable students to become confident, competent, and responsible contributors to society. We strive to help our students develop the skills they need to live their best lives with purpose and happiness. To do this, we promise to gather together the best group of employees possible and give them the best resources possible. With that in mind...who are we?

100 employees work at Alburnett as their primary job

58 of those employees are teachers - 24 in the elementary and 34 in grades 6-12

9 are associates

8 in the food service department

8 in the transportation department

5 are in the buildings and grounds department

4 are in the secretarial department

2 are school counselors

1 is a school nurse

5 are in administrative type roles

24 more join the staff as coaches or contracted substitute bus drivers

Some of our full time employees have multiple responsibilities!

13 have Teacher Leader responsibilities

25 coach, sponsor an activity, or drive a bus route

And 29 of our teaching staff and administrators hold a Master's Degree or beyond.

We have a wide range of longevity in the district as well.

2 for 25-29 years

8 for 20-24 years

8 for 15-20 years

10 for 10-14 years

23 for 5-9 years

32 for 1-4 years

And 14 are new employees this year.
