AIS WEST UNIFORM POLICY AND DRESS CODE

All AISE students are expected to be properly groomed for school and to wear the school uniform daily unless otherwise announced by the High School office. Themed days are not dress-down days; students are expected to be in themed apparel or the proper school uniform. All AIS school uniform apparel should be purchased from the school's official store.

The School Uniform must be Worn at all Times and Consists of:

Tops 

• AIS West T-shirt/polo shirt

• School sponsored hoodies T-shirts from former trips or sports teams with AIS logo 

• SOLID white or navy blue plain hoodies, sweater, or jacket (no logo) are accepted, but must have a shirt with logo underneath

• Hoods must be off student heads unless outdoors

Students must have a medical verification note from the school doctor in order to wear alternative footwear

Bottoms

• • solid navy blue (may have AIS logo)

Can be

• • Sweat pants

  • Cargo

  • Knee-length skirts / skorts

  • Knee-length shorts

Can’t be 

• • Ripped or expose skin

  • Leggings/yoga pants/flared yoga pants - this includes seniors 

  • Jeans

Footwear

• Only proper shoes permitted

• No Slides

• No backless shoes

• No Crocs

• No slippers/flip flops

• No sandals

• No Birkenstocks

Seniors

•  AIS West Senior T-shirt/polo shirt or solid back t-shirt with no writings or logos 

• Solid black pants - leggings are not permitted for female students

Any uniform violations will result in In-School-Suspensions immediately ISS (In-School Suspension)
