AIS WEST UNIFORM POLICY AND DRESS CODE

All AISE students are expected to be properly groomed for school and to wear the school uniform daily unless otherwise announced by the High School office. Themed days are not dress-down days; students are expected to be in themed apparel or the proper school uniform. All AIS school uniform apparel should be purchased from the school's official store.

The School Uniform must be Worn at all Times and Consists of:

Tops 

• AIS West T-shirt/polo shirt

• School hoodies with AIS logo (Navy Blue or White)

• School sponsored hoodies & T-shirts with AIS logo 

• SOLID white or navy blue plain hoodies, sweaters, or jackets (no logo) are accepted but must have a shirt with the logo underneath. No brand logos are accepted. Unacceptable covers will be confiscated by the office till the end of the year.

• Hoods must be off students' heads unless outdoors

• Closed-toed shoes with a heel must be worn at all times. no flip-flops, slides, crocs or beach footwear. 

• Students must have a medical verification note from the school doctor in order to wear alternative footwear

Bottoms

• • Bottoms must always be navy blue-no other colors-plain and solid 

  • Cargo 

  • Skirts /skorts (knee high - nothing above the knee)

  • Shorts (knee high - nothing above the knee)

  • Pants are permitted to have an AIS logo or plain (no logo). 

  • Pants material may not be ripped or have any exposed skin.

  • No leggings or yoga pants permitted even if navy blue - this includes seniors 

  • No legging flares permitted even if navy blue - this includes seniors

Footwear

• Only proper shoes permitted

• No Slides

• No backless shoes

• No Crocs

• No slippers/flip flops

• No sandals

Seniors

•  AIS West T-shirt/polo shirt or solid back t-shirt with no major

            writing or logos 

Any uniform violations will result in In-School-Suspensions immediately (ISS) without warning.

The leadership team reserves final judgment on all clothing that might detract from AISE's beliefs.
