STUDENT APPEAL PROCESS

AISW students are encouraged to learn and employ positive and mature conflict resolution skills. When disagreements arise between students and faculty, students should follow these procedures:

1. Approach the staff member at an appropriate time and request a meeting. This should be done in a mature, respectful manner with the goal of resolving the conflict.

2. If the student has followed the above guidelines and a solution cannot be reached, the student should bring the matter to the attention of a member of the Leadership Team or Counseling Office for resolution.
