As you are aware, saluting the flag and the morning lines are a ministry requirement and attendance is taken to keep track. Being on time to salute your country’s flag shows respect to your school, your community and your country. Learning to be on time is a critical life skill.
After 15 days of being absent from morning lines a student
Will receive an in-school suspension (ISS) (1st offense)
As a second offense ( after being absent from morning lines 30 times):
A student will receive a second in-school suspension (ISS) which will automatically place them on
behavior probation for 9 weeks.
As a third offense ( after being absent from morning lines 45 times) a student will
receive an out-of-school suspension (OSS) for one day, and
be placed on the next level of behavior probation for that term.
As a first offense, you will lose your lunch card for one week starting today and can leave school at lunch again starting September 7, 2025.
As a second offense, then the second consequence will be
2 weeks of card loss
Will receive one full day of ISS in school.
For the third offense, you will
Lose the card indefinitely
Placed on behavior probation.
