Honor Roll Criteria

→ HONORS CRITERIA

Students with Honor Roll have achieved an average GPA of 3.3 - 3.69 and have no grade lower than a 

• B- 

→ FULL IB HONORS CRITERIA

Students with Honor Roll have achieved an average GPA of 3.0 - 3.29 and have no grade lower than 

• C

→ HIGH HONORS CRITERIA

Students with High Honor Roll have achieved at least an average GPA of 3.7 and have no grade lower than a 

• B+ 

→ FULL IB HIGH HONORS CRITERIA

Students with High Honor Roll have achieved at least an average GPA of 3.3 and have no grade lower than a 

• B

Please note that during senior year, the honor roll will be calculated for the whole academic year, not just semester 2. 

In order to qualify as valedictorian or salutatorian, a student must have been enrolled in AIS Egypt from Grade 9. Students must have a clean disciplinary record and demonstrate the values described by the AIS Egypt mission and Portrait of a Graduate. 

Students from both the IB and the AD programs are selected for valedictorian and salutatorian based on their cumulative GPA.
