Our policy for children’s school uniform is based on the belief that a school uniform promotes:
A sense of pride in the Academy
Engenders a feeling of community and belonging
Is practical and smart
Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
Our uniform is as follows:
Uniform
Grey or black skirt / tunic / dress / trousers. No cycling shorts/leggings
White polo shirt (with or without logo)
Red sweatshirt/cardigan with logo (un-logoed jumpers are not school uniform)
Red check dress in Summer / Grey or black shorts in summer
Sensible shoes or trainers
PE Kit
All pupils are required to change for PE
White t-shirt (with or without logo)
Red shorts (indoors)
Plain grey / black joggers (outdoors)
Black pumps or trainers
Jeans and leggings are not appropriate school uniform and should not be worn. Plain black or grey jogging bottoms are allowed for outdoor PE and Nursery and Reception class children only.
Shoes need to be suitable for the rough and tumble of the playground, no heels please. Wellingtons are not suitable for all day indoor wear, please ensure that if your child comes to school in wellingtons that they have a pair of suitable shoes/pumps to change into and a bag to keep their wellies in.
Please make sure all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child's name
Please note we only have limited stock in school for the Academy logo polo shirts, sweatshirts, cardigans and reversible outdoor jackets which you can check on ParentPay. If we don't have your size available, you will need to contact our Supplier direct who are Price & Buckland.
