At Cottingley Primary Academy we want our history curriculum to provide the children with as many opportunities as possible to enable them to truly find their remarkable. Our school is about creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities for all children, so that they learn to love learning and create really special memories of their time in school.

Our History Curriculum
Through history we want to inspire curiosity amongst our children, to develop their own opinions and to build a strong understanding of the past so that they can better understand the world around them. Our curriculum aims to provide children with a broad knowledge of significant people and events from local, national and international levels reaching from the ancient era through to the twentieth century.
