DIGITAL BOOKS

These are books stored in Google Drive. So far there are 3044 titles available.

The searchable catalog of downloadable ebooks is a popup Google Sheets file (click here).

To facilitate the search within the catalog, perform the following steps:

For basic users, use the FIND command.

1. Left-click CTRL-F.
2. At the search box that opens, type the search word.
3. Left-click Enter. The number of finds is reflected on the right portion of the box.
4. Left-click on up ( ^ ) or ( v ) down arrow to move to the choices that do not appear on screen.
5. Left-click the chosen book titles to open them on a new tab and facilitate their download.

For advanced users, use the FILTER command.

1. Left-click Alt-D > Filter views ... Create new temporary filter view.
2. Left-click the Filter button of either the Authors column or the Title column.
3. At the drop-down menu, left-click Filter by values ... Clear.
4. At the search box, type the key word.
5. Left-click the available and relevant entries.
6. Left-click the OK button for filtered view.
7. Left-click the chosen book titles to open them on a new tab and facilitate their download.
8. To clear the filter, left-click the Filter Button.
9. At the drop-down menu, left-click Filter by values ... Select all.
10. Left-click the OK button.

DIGITAL ARTICLES

A searchable catalog of downloadable articles will be constructed. This cannot be expected soon because the cataloging has not started yet.

DIGITAL MOVIES

Philosophically interesting movies:

• Sophie's World (1999). A film of Jostein Gaarder's novel.
• Trial of Socrates, The (1971). A film based on Plato's The Apology of Socrates.
• What Dreams May Come (1998). A tale about heaven and hell as choices we make, not reward or punishment we get.
• When Nietzsche Wept (2007). A fictional tale of the meeting between the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche and the doctor Joseph Breuer (mentor of Sigmund Freud).
