This is the Basic level in the study of the Logic of Conceptions. Here we study the term according to what is practically useful for a basic level study of propositions and syllogisms. This level, good for one week, has three lessons: 1) Definition of "Term" (pp. 15-7); 2) Comprehension, Extension, and Their Inverse Relationship (pp. 17-22); and 3) Quantity of Terms (pp. 22-6).
Alongside the reading activity, there are three types of activities in this unit. Quizzes will help you understand the ideas you encounter. Reflection activities will help you consolidate your thoughts. A discussion with the class will help deepen your insights.
Successful completion of each assigned activity is necessary to move on to the next lesson. This section is good for one week.
