Module 2

Capstone Check-in & ASSEMBLY SLIDES BELOW

This week is a capstone check-in, to help ensure that you are on track for completing your final project.

As you work through the assignment, you may find that you don't have an answer for everything yet, but that's okay. This week's work is to help you stay on track, and to set goals for ultimate success.

Criteria for the Capstone Project

Regardless of the theme that you have chosen to focus on, every project must showcase key elements.

The following diagram illustrates the key elements that your project must contain, and that you must demonstrate in your presentation.

Many of these items will happen naturally, whereas others will require you to discuss them in detail. No matter where you are at in your project, reflecting on your progress now is essential to ensure success at the end.

Grad Feb assembly Grade 12.pptx

On Thursday, February 9th we had a Grade 12 assembly to review the Capstone requirements and to share updates for Grad events.  Please see the slides here and email Mrs. Sussex if you have any questions.

Core Competencies

Your project is a way for you to demonstrate growth in the core competencies. We have worked on these before, but think of your personal development in each of these areas through your project specifically. The following illustrates the three key areas of the core competencies.

Assignment

Using the document posted here, it is time to assess where you are in your project. If you are unable to fill in part of the document, set dates for completion.

Setting goals is the key to success!
