National 4 General Science
Description:
Learners will continue to develop their knowledge and understanding of science to recognise the impact science makes on developing sustainability, and its effects on the environment, on society and on the lives of themselves and others.
Pupils complete 3 units of work and an Added Value Unit

· Applications of Science
Entry Requirement
Approval from Science Teacher
Assessment
Level 4 Assessment at the end of each unit with 50% required to pass. A written report of an experiment. An Added Value Unit that includes experimental data and research.
National 4 Physics
Description:
To develop their understanding of the role of physics in scientific issues and the practical application of physics, pupils will participate in variety of activities extending their knowledge and understanding of physics.
Pupils complete 3 units of work and an Added Value Unit
Dynamics and Space
Electricity and Energy
Waves and Radiation
