S3 Leadership Project

Each year, 10 pupils from S3 are selected to take part in a Leadership Project along with several other academies in the city.

In November the group take part in an Outward Bound course at Loch Eil on the west coast of Scotland. During this week they learn and develop valuable leadership skills through outdoor activities such as canoeing, climbing, hiking and camping.

On their return they are tasked with running a project that will in some way support the school and it's community. This project allows pupils to take on an important role within the school, developing core skills such as communication, organisation and responsibility.

The 2019/20 group created a new Pupil Council. You can see a presentation on their progress below.
