When children start in school families are provided with a link to set up a Parent Pay account. A system called Parent Pay is used to allow families to:
Pay for lunches via an online account. Lunches are currently free for pupils P1-5 so payment is only necessary for P6/7 pupils.
Order lunches up to three weeks ahead. It is very helpful to the kitchen team at Mile End if families can order meals ahead of time as this informs
Ensure that children do not order meal which contain ingredients which they may be allergic to or that are not in line with their dietary requirements/wishes.
If children prefer, they can bring a packed lunch to school. This can be sent into school in the morning with the child. We ask that packed lunches do not contain nuts, grapes/cherry tomatoes (unless cut into pieces) to minimise allergy/choking risks.
