Hear Ye! Hear Ye! All William Floyd High School students are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Renaissance Faire on November 1. Join us in the West Gym from 6-8pm to learn how people lived during the Renaissance Era. The cost of a ticket is just one can of food. All contributions will go to our local food pantry. 9th graders can pick up their tickets in 3 West. Students in grades 10-12 can pick up their tickets in the Chairperson’s Office. Have a great day!

Attention all Underclassmen: Life Touch will be in the LGI on November 1 to take pictures of any underclassmen that have not had their pictures taken yet. Please don’t miss out on this opportunity. This is the last time Life Touch will be here to take your photos.

Any senior who has not yet taken a Senior Portrait for the yearbook MUST have their Senior Portrait taken NO LATER than October 31, if they would like their portrait to be in this year’s yearbook. Please call Lifetouch Studios at 631-861-2555 to arrange an appointment as soon as possible. Portraits taken after that date are not guaranteed to be in this year’s book, so don’t delay. Please see Mrs. Janowicz in the Chair’s Office or Dr. Incantalupo in Room 257 if you have any questions.

Attention all juniors and seniors looking to purchase a class ring: A representative from Herff Jones will be here for the Class Ring Assembly on October 30 during second period. Parent and Student Ring Order Night will be Wednesday, November 7 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm in the 10th Grade Café. Orders can also be placed in school during all lunch periods in the Senior Food Court on November 8 and 9.

Are you interested in joining Foreign Language Honor Society? Foreign Language Honor Society is accepting applications for new members who are in 10th, 11th and 12th grades who are enrolled in a Foreign Language course. Please see Mr. Robinson in Room 139 for an application and the process on how to apply.​

Bible Club will meet this Thursday, November 1 in Room 243 at 2:10pm.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors: A representative from SUNY Potsdam will be in the Senior Café today during period 7. Anyone interested, may stop by and speak with the representative.

After school math regents prep is a great opportunity to brush upon your skills for your upcoming regents in January and June. Algebra 2 regents review will be in Room 207 today.

There will be no HCARE SAT Prep on Wednesday, October 31.

Attention all students and staff: Today begins our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. We are asking for non-perishable food items. Please bring these items to your 2nd Period class. If you would like more information, please see any of your teachers or stop by the 2 West Office.

Congratulations to the girls Freshman Cross Country team for placing 3rd overall in Suffolk County at the Freshman/Sophomore County Championship meet at Sunken Meadow. Great Job girls.

All boys interested in trying out for Winter Bowling, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, November 5 at 3:00 in Room 137.

Attention all Business Honor Society Members: Our November community service event is to bring in a bag of candy for our troops for Operation Gratitude. The candy is due this Thursday, November 1. If you have not done so already, please bring the candy to Room 152 and sign the drop off sheet posted on the cabinet by the window.

There will be no CII on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
