Attention Seniors: The Colonial Fund Scholarship is now accepting applications. To apply go to www.colonialfund.org. Transcript Request Forms are due to your School Counselor by Monday, March 26. The Scholarship application deadline is April 1, 2018.

Are you interested in joining Foreign Language Honor Society? If you are in 9th, 10th and 11th grade and currently enrolled in Spanish or Italian you can apply by seeing Mr. Robinson in Room 307 or by speaking to your Foreign Language teacher. Applications are due March 27.

Are you thinking about going to the Prom this June? Make sure you are in good standing which means on track to graduate. You can have no more than 18 absences in a full-year course and no more than 9 in a half-year course. You must also attend one of the mandatory Prom Lawyer Meetings!

Attention all athletes on a Spring Sports team: The spring athletic sticker meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 20 during the extra help period (1:35 – 2:10) in the West Gym. Attendance by all student-athletes and coaches is mandatory and all must bring their WFHS ID cards. Please see your coach if you have any questions.

Don’t miss out a very special William Floyd High School event! Enigma, William Floyd High School’s literary magazine and the Art Honor Society present our annual Coffee House, an evening of poetry, art, and music. Tickets are $5 and are on sale now in Room 120 and in Room 174. Get yours now before they sell out! Be sure to join us on March 28 at 6pm!

Anyone playing JV Football next year should plan on attending a meeting on Wednesday, March 21 at 2:15 in Room 413.

Attention students running for Class Council positions or executive board positions for the 2018-2019 school year: There is a mandatory candidate meeting regarding campaigning on Friday, March 23 in Room 141. All who are running must attend.

Do you need some help getting ready for a Math Regents exam? Regents exam prep sessions are running after school weekly. Algebra I sessions will run every Monday in Room 306 and Thursdays in Room 415. Geometry sessions will be held every Wednesday in Room 223 and Algebra II sessions will be on Fridays in Room 207.

The warm weather is coming. Wouldn’t you like a new hair color or some highlights? How about a deep conditioner or a full head of curls? Call the Senior Cosmetology students at 874-1764 or stop by Room 135 to make an appointment.

Attention all students running for class council positions or executive board positions for the 2018-2019 school year: Your completed packet, including your biography and candle fundraiser, must be turned in no later than Thursday, March 22 at 2:10pm to Ms. Fortier in Room 117 or Ms. Licavoli-Dean in Room 141. Your packet is not complete until all items are turned in.

Please join the William Floyd HS Medical Club on Monday, March 26 from 2:15 – 3:00 in Room 245 to discuss the Science of Aromatherapy in medicine with a guest speaker. Anyone interested in pursuing a career in a medical allied healthcare field is encouraged to come.

Attention William Floyd High School students who are interested in applying for membership in the National Honor Society: Mrs. Taiani and Ms. Penney, NHS advisors will be holding an informational meeting for parents during which they will review how to properly fill out the National Honor Society application. The meeting will be held on Monday, March 19 at 6:00 in the High School LGI/Room 177. Applications are due on Friday, March 23, 2018
