*Attention all juniors: Time is running out! If you have not scheduled your Junior Conference, please come down to the counseling center to make an appointment to meet with your counselor.

*Did one of your students or a staff member do something wonderful this past month? Please take a moment to recognize this act by nominating him/her for Student Member of the month or Faculty Member of the Month! Please submit all forms in blue or black pen only! NO COLORED PENCILS OR PENS! Stop by any Assistant Principal’s office or the Library to pick up a form.

Please drop off all nominations to the 2 East Office which is now located in Room 208.

*Congratulations to the WF High School Mixed Chorus, Wind Ensemble, String Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra!!!!!!!Competing in the 2017 Boston Music Festival, each group was awarded 1st place with superior ratings in the divisions they were competing in. In addition, each group had the highest scores against all other bands, orchestras and choruses and were awarded the Overall Championship in each category.​

Regents Readiness Workshops begin tomorrow at 2:10 in the following locations:

*Congratulations to Giovanni Marks for placing 3rd in New York State Skills USA Carpentry Assistant Competition. The purpose of the competition was to evaluate each contestant’s ability to demonstrate basic skills in the field of carpentry and the ability to support the carpenter on the job.

*Over the weekend, the boys track team competed in the Westhampton Invitational. Winners of their events included Trevor Wilkins in the long and triple jump, Nigel Green in the 100 and 400, and the 4x100 team of Wilkins, Green, Wilkins, and Taitt taking home gold. Athletes receiving medals for top finishes in their events included; Rolando Banks, Tyler Wilkins, James Taitt, Christian Banks, Jesse Williams, Pedro Hernandez, and Michael Battelli. Floyd takes on Sachem East tomorrow at home on their quest for a league championship
