Do you have an overall average above an 80% and an average of 88% or more in your business courses?? As long as you plan to take 3 business courses prior to graduation and are either an active FBLA member or enrolled in a college level business course, we want YOU to be a member of Business Honor Society!! Applications for Business Honor Society are available from Mrs. Cloghessy in Room 152 or can be obtained from any business teacher! To truly distinguish yourself amongst your peers, be sure to pick up your Business Honor Society application as soon as possible.
Attention all students: There will be no Credit Recovery on Monday, September 18th due to a faculty meeting.
Attention students who are members of the Foreign Language Honor Society. Your first meeting will be this Friday, September 15th at 2:10 pm in Room 307
Attention Underclassmen:
Underclass Photos will be taken on Wednesday, September 13th, Thursday, September 14th and Friday, September 15th during your gym periods. Please make every effort to get your photo taken during that time.
Attention all 10th and 11th grade students: Don’t miss out on your chance to take the PSAT on October 14th. You can register and pay for the exam in the High School Main Office beginning Wednesday, September 13th. The cost for the exam is $16.00. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the William Floyd School District. Please contact your school counselor or see Mrs. Matthews in Room 410 if you have any questions.
Attention all Seniors: Columbia University will be visiting the Counseling Center on Tuesday, September 19th at 9:00 a.m. during 3rd period. If you would like to meet with the representative, please come down to the Counseling Center to sign up.
Attention Seniors: Lifetouch Studios will be at William Floyd High School on September 18th, 19th and 20th from 2:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the LGI to take your Senior Photo. If you have not scheduled an appointment, please see Dr. Incantalupo in Room 257 or Ms. Janowicz in Room 136. These are the last three days they will be here to take photos. If you do not schedule your photo at the High School, you will need to go to the Lifetouch Studio in Farmingdale!
