What is Beat Boxing?

Beat boxing- Vocal creation of beats and rhythms, usually into a microphone and amplified in imitation of a drum machine. It can also involve singing, vocal scratching ( imitation of turn tabling), imitation of other instruments and replication of a vast array of sound effects. Best known is the basic techniques of imitating the bass drum and snare sounds common in rock.
