The five lines in music is known as the ‘STAVE’ or ‘STAFF’
There are 2 patterns in reading music.
1) LINES:

Good----------------------------------------------------2nd
Every---------------------------------------------------1st Lines
2) SPACES: The spaces are the F-A-C-Es

3) Notes above or below the leger lines continue alternating in between the two patterns mentioned above.
