Fee Schedule

Dear Parents/Guardians,

At Marist College Pagewood, we have many music tutors available in our Music Department. The instruments our tutors teach range from:

Violin, Flute, Piano, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Voice, Drums, Classical/Acoustic guitar, Bass guitar and Electric guitar.

The music lessons will be taught during school time from 9am-3pm.

The timetable of the lessons will be created so that the students do not miss out on the same class each week.

The cost of the lesson for all tutors except beginner drums for 2012 will be $30/30 minutes. The students may choose to share a music lesson with another student, which will halve the cost to $15/30 minutes.

Students will be given a timetable for each term and parents/guardians are to make sure that their son attends the lesson or notifies the tutor of their son’s absence due to illness, assessment or other commitment as not communicating this to the tutors will charge the normal fee of $30.

All payments and invoices will be communicated and passed directly from the student to the instrumental music tutor.

In learning an instrument, it is essential that the student commit to the lessons for at least 1 term before cancelling the lessons from the tutor.

If after one term of tuition a student wishes to cancel further lessons, the Parent/Guardian will have to contact the music tutor three weeks in advance to let them know the student is cancelling.

There will be Music Ensembles in which your son will be able to join for free if they are learning instruments privately or are tutored in an instrument at school.
