We're in that strange middle time of the school year when we've just been away for a week for Thanksgiving, we get back and then three weeks later we're gone for Winter Break. In Math we'll continue to work with adding and subtracting numbers into the millions with regrouping and ungrouping (this is the same concept as "borrowing" or "carrying". We'll also be covering geometry once again with more information about angles to add to what we've already studied in this area. Writing workshop is now focused on essays of all kinds and we'll continue that work through winter break.
