Chrome Assessments

Please complete all assessments for the Chrome module by joining Google Classroom with code.

Participants will receive all Classroom codes at the end of the previous module's Classroom stream (i.e. - Chrome module code is the last post of the "Module 2: Classroom" stream). If you have questions, please email the instructor for your course and specify your section (HS/MS/ES/Hopi/Summer):

HS Fall/Hopi/Summer: Vicki Anderson (vanderson@susd.org)

MS Fall: Amy Downs (adowns@susd.org)

ES Fall: Lauren Grancagnolo (lgrancagnolo@susd.org)

Do not attempt to complete assessments from this page! Go to the Classroom for all directions and to submit work for PD credit.

This page contains only a description of each Assessment for the module to help you gauge if you are ready, but all of this information and more is also in the Classroom. Please follow all directions, and refer back to the Tutorials if you need instruction. Don't hesitate to contact your instructor if you have questions.

  1. Study terms and take a quiz over functions of the Chrome browser, the difference between logging into Google Apps vs. Chrome, and hacks, tips, & tricks.
  2. Take a screenshot of your Chrome Settings page showing at least 2 accounts being managed through your browser settings.
  3. Take a screenshot of a new tab page in Chrome with your Extensions, Themes, and customized Bookmarks Bar showing; also take a screenshot of your Chrome Apps page. Turn in both screenshots.
  4. Use the free version of Screencastify to create a screencast. You can use a presentation and record voice-over or make a tutorial video. Whether or not your face shows on screen at all is completely at your discretion.
  5. Share your favorite Extensions, Apps, or Themes for Chrome through the discussion post.

Please do not neglect to go back to the "Module 3: Chrome" landing page and click on the Feedback icon when you have completed this module.
