  • Why you may need a buddyWhat to expect from collaborative assessments

A collaboration buddy is NO LONGER REQUIRED for this course. If you already have collaborative documents in your Drive or someone who has agreed to collaborate with you, please feel free to skip to the bottom of this lesson page and move on to "Googly Vocabulary."

Why You May Need a Buddy

One of the most important aspects of using Google tools is the unique opportunity for synchronous or asynchronous collaboration. In order to show your understanding of this aspect, you will need to collaborate on some assessments for this course. Your buddy may also act as a student for your Module 2 assessments in Google Classroom if you do not have students to practice with during the course. If you already have shared documents where you and another person have both edited, you may skip this lesson.

What to Expect from Collaborative Assessments

Collaborative assessments will involve submitting a shared document and a screenshot of the revision history on a shared document.
