Please work with your child on using their words when need something instead of their hands or body. We will continue to work on writing skills and scissor work.  Please remind your child to hold the pencil/pen the correct way and to start letters from the top to the bottom (sky to the ground). 

Operation Christmas

Each year, St. Stanislaus Catholic School participates in "Operation Christmas Shoe box."  Preschool is joining in this year.  This project is designed to give children in third world countries a little Christmas treat, when normally that would not be possible. This is optional. 

• We are looking for donations of the following items. Please place the items in a shoe box (any size) or shoe box size container. 

• Due date for items is Friday,  November 13th. 

• Age and Gender-Specific Ideas: 

  • Girls 2-4, Girls 5-9, Girls 10-14, 

  • Boys 2-4, Boys 5-9, Boys 10-14. 

    • TOYS: Include items that children will immediately embrace such as dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yo's, jump ropes, balls, toys that light up and make noise (with extra batteries), etc.

    • SCHOOL SUPPLIES: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.

    • NON-LIQUID HYGIENE ITEMS: toothbrushes, bar soap, combs, washcloths, etc.

    • ACCESSORIES: t-shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries), etc.

    • A PERSONAL NOTE: You may enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family. If you include your name and address, the child may be able to write back.

Gentle Reminders

• If your child is in the half day program please do not bring them to school until 8 am.  We do not have staffing available for early arrivals.  

• If your child is in the Preschool room please place their lunch on the cart by the back door so the teachers have it at lunch time.  

• Please put your child's name on all items they bring.  Especially jackets and lunch boxes.  

Change of Clothes

• The days are getting colder.  Please exchange your child's summer clothes for warmer ones.

  • Long pants

  • Long Sleeve Shirts

  • Socks

  • Underwear

  • Shoes

• All Students need a change of clothes to be kept at school.  They are not just for potty accidents. 

• Please put your child's name on all items brought to school.

Late Pick Up

• Just a friendly reminder your child needs to be picked up by 12:15 for morning friends and 5:45 for full day friends.  

• Late Fee Rate:

  • $30 for every 10 minutes

• Please make sure you are on time. Teachers have to stay beyond their normal schedule to cover late students. 

Holiday Boutique Saturday, November 7th

The second annual St. Stanislaus Catholic Community Holiday Boutique will be held on the 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be arts, crafts and food - everything you need for your holiday needs. Please click here for more details.
