Basic Information
It is our desire to keep the children and staff at our preschool as healthy and safe as possible. To prevent the spread of any germs, each child, upon arrival, is required to wash his/her hands with soap and water at the classroom sink before he/she begins to play. We also kindly ask parents to carefully monitor their child's health each morning.
If your child exhibits one or more of the following symptoms, please keep him/her home until condition(s) subside or disappear. A child is usually most contagious 2-3 days before he/she becomes ill.
Fever of 99.8 degrees Fahrenheit or higher

Exhaustion from being overly tired or did not have a restful night of sleep
Thick, runny nose that needs frequent blowing
Diarrhea or has vomited within the last 24 hours
Fussiness or crankiness, crying excessively, no desire to play or loss of appetite

If your child becomes ill while at preschool, the following steps will be followed:

If we cannot reach you, someone listed on your Emergency Information form (LIC 700) will be called.
An ill child shall be removed from the center as soon as possible.
Children may return to school when all signs and symptoms of illness disappear.
