Medication
If a child must take any medication in school which is prescribed by a doctor, that medication must be given to the Director in the container received from the pharmacy and must be labeled in the following way.
Child’s name
Name of doctor prescribing the child’s medication
Frequency
Dose
Date
Medication must also be accompanied by a Medication form. See form below.
All non-prescription medication (cough drops, aspirin, etc.) must be given to the Director with written parent information and with the following information:
Child’s name
Frequency
Dose
Date
Under NO circumstances are students to have prescription
or over-the-counter medications in their possession while on campus or during any school activities.
Students with high fevers should be kept home for
24 hours with a normal temperature before returning to school.
