Please work with your child on using their words when need something instead of their hands or body. We will continue to work on writing skills and scissor work.  Please remind your child to hold the pencil/pen the correct way and to start letters from the top to the bottom (sky to the ground).

5th Annual Giving Tree

• 5th Annual Giving Tree: This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our local community and to shower a family in need with Christmas Joy and Love.

This year St. Stan's has adopted two needy families from Sierra Vista Child and Family Services in Modesto.  Starting on Friday, November 20th, you may pick up a mitten or two off the Christmas tree; each mitten lists a gift or a household/personal item requested by a family. Please complete the Permission Form for your K-3rd grader to pick a mitten with their class. Please click here for more information.

Christmas Tree Farm Field Trip

• December 3rd leaving at 9:30 returning at 12:00

• Parents must accompany their child

• Permission Slips were Due Nov. 20th, if you haven't turned them in please do so by Nov 30th or Dec. 1st at the very latest 

• Everyone invited even if it is not your child's regular day. 

• No Hot Lunch, bring a sack lunch for a picnic at the tree farm. 

• We will be making shirts the Week of Nov 16th - 20th (please purchase if not already done so for $5)

• Come & Cut Christmas Trees, 5406 Milnes Rd. Modesto

• All information is in your Child's mailbox.

Important Change of Clothes Preschool & PreK

• The days are getting colder.  Please exchange your child's summer clothes for warmer ones.

  • Long pants

  • Long Sleeve Shirts

  • Socks

  • Underwear

  • Shoes

• All Students need a change of clothes to be kept at school.  They are not just for potty accidents. 

• Please put your child's name on all items brought to school.
