|Â 7| Heat Transfer Correlations
There are a selection of heat transfer correlations which can be used to calculate Nusselt number. The key is to determine whether the flow is laminar or turbulent and this will determine what correlation should be used to calculate Nusselt number.
These correlations are both used for vertical plates but as you can see they are only valid under certain conditions.
