Serial Numbers and Licenses and Download Updates (CM. Player. Designer.)

• If your Content Manager licence number (dongle) has been changed, please restart Apache Tomcat service.
• Scala maintenance coverage must not have ended when updating Content Manager.
  • Licenses not appearing if only one type of classic players exist in license.xml Affects Version/s:11.03 (Atlanta) Fix Version/s:11.03.02
    • Try different browsers (IE/Firefox)
    • Clear cached images and files (Chrome)

1. Content Manager and Player.

1. In ContentManager, under System> License status >Copy the Scala Enterprise Content Manager USB Key Serial Number: : XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX.

1. Open Windows Explorer which is installed Content Manager and go to C:\ProgramData\Scala\InfoChannel Content Manager 5
2. If you cannot see programdata file, Google your Windows version and "show hidden files."
3. Open the dongle.xml file

1. Copy dongle-id XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

2. Designer

1. Go to Help>About Scala Designer and click on Serial Number.
2. Copy the serial Number. (Ctrl + C on Keyboard.). You can not highlight the number.

1. Open Notepad, and paste it into the Notepad. (Ctrl + V on Keyboard.)

1. Go to C:\ProgramData\Scala\InfoChannel Designer 5 and open dongle.xml
2. Copy dongle-id

3. Your Scala Maintenance Subscription and Download Updaters

1. Open https://license.scala.com/downloadcenter/, paste the serial number and click Submit.
2. Check the expiry date.
3. Also you can download updaters.

4. Confirm your license status.

1. System>License Status Check Scala Maintenance coverage until: 20XX-XX-XX and number of Player licenses.
   1. If it is not correct value, click on Get License File Online.

1. Click on Networks

1. Download license file.
   1. Open http://license.scala.com/ContentManager/ and paste the serial number.
   2. Click Download license file. check the expiry date and player licenses.
