Install PsExec on a Scala Ready PC Player for EWF

Currently you can not operate EWF settings remotely on Scala PC Players. (SUP-1810 Unable to run EWFMGR.exe command from maintenance job). However, if you install PsExec.exe, you are able to do it. You must test it before integrating on many players. A tech team is working on without installing the PsExec file (From 12.00?).

Below example is for Scala Ready PC PC Players.

1. Download PsTools

1. Open PSTools.zip and drag PsExec.exe onto desktop

1. Open Content Manager > Network> Maintenance Job> New

1. Select Scala Player, and Name the job. (Ex. installingPSE)
2. Type in a Description.
3. Click Create.

1. Go to Players>Add Players, and Tick Players, then Click Add & Close.

1. Go to Task> ADD＞Select Install System File. ＞Click Select＞Upload PsExec.exe＞Tick PsExec.exe. Click Select.
2. Type D: in Install Path. Click Add, and then click Save.

1. Go to Scheduling > Add
2. Select ASAP or once
3. Click Add and Save & Close.

1. Go to Network>Players>Tick Players＞Generate Plan

1. Go to Network>Maintenance job, and check the success. (It might take a while)
