Embedded Files
HTML Widget: Self-contained web content including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RSS, etc. in a single .wgt file. This has the benefit of being locally stored so it does not require an Internet connection, but it may pull content from the Web as well.
Note:
- Scala is not responsible for the coding.
- Searching on the net using "widget html5 xxxxx" or "API XXX" as keywords might find useful widgets such as time, weather, rss feeds, news, stocks and exchange rates.
- Depending on the Widget, it can not be used for business purposes. You must read the terms and conditions before use.
- Facebook
- Show Facebook Page Plugin, which lets you easily embed and promote any Facebook Page. (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin)
- Change the URL to an appropriate URL (Ex https://www.facebook.com/scala/)
- Modify width, height and design.
- Click Get Code.
- Click IFrame and copy the code.
- Create an index.html file. Open Notepad and type in below.
- Paste the codes under <body>
- Save it onto the desktop and rename to index.html.
- You need show file name extensions. (Show file and hide)
- Right click on the index file. And open with Google Chrome to confirm whether it works or not.
- Right click on the index file with 7-Zip (You need to install archive soft such as 7-Zip).
- Add to Archive.
- Rename it to xxxxx.wgt Select Zip and store>OK.
- Upload it to Content Manager. Add to a playlist and play.
- Or open Designer and Add a blank page.
- Drag the wgt file onto the blank page. Click Preview.
- Result
- Hold Alt key on keyboard and drag for adjusting the size.
- Twitter
- Twitter search Widget. It allows you to search Twitter accounts or tweets so that you can find current events and tweets.

- CodePen is an online community for testing and showcasing user-created HTML, CSS and JavaScript code snippets. It functions as an online code editor, where developers can create code snippets, creatively named "pens", and test them.
- Many html examples such as crawl, telop, ticker, animation, 3D, WebGL, etc.
- WebGL (WebGL is a JavaScript API for rendering 3D graphics)
- WebGL content will not be visible in webclip in 11.03. You can still enable WebGL via the following mmos.ini: WEBCLIP_DisableGPUCompositing=0
- WebGL (11.03) will not perform as well as previous versions of webclip. (Perform well in Player version 11.02)
- Sign up>Join CodePen Free>
- Search and find samles>Select the sample.
- Click Fork>change the code>Run>Save
- Collection>Creat New Collection & Add>Type in Name>Create>Click Your Profile>Your Dashboard
- Open the saved file onto desktop. Embed>Export.zip>
- Change a file extention to .wgt. Upload it to Content Manager or drag onto a blank page in Designer.
