Today we will continue to discuss the kinds of sources historians use and start a new project creating a DBQ.
Question of the Day
What makes a historical source useful and reliable?
Be prepared for vocabulary quiz
1: Vocabulary Quiz
2: Begin DBQ. In this assignment you will need to:
Develop a research question. The question should be tied to one of this unit's main concepts related to the content in this unit.
Identify at least three sources that you could use as evidence in answering this question. You must have at least one written primary source, at least one primary source/artifact that is not a written document, and at least one secondary source. These are the sources you will be allowed to use in writing your essay next class. The Internet Indian History Sourcebook is a good place to start looking for sources.
Complete this DBQ template document using the three sources that you have chosen. You should print this out and bring it to class next class. You'll need it to write your essay.
