Today we will continue studying European imperialism. The industrial revolution created a greater demand for finished goods and the resources necessary to make them, and European countries looked beyond their borders to meet these needs. They established political and economic control of countries all over the world. We will focus on South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East today.
